DEPARTMENT OF PHYSIOLOGY

Physiology is the study of how living organisms function. Thus, human physiology deals specifically with the physiological attributes of the human body at various levels of organization, i.e. from cellular to tissue and ultimately, physiology at the biological system level. The department has an excellent teaching-learning infrastructure including laboratories-Hematology, Human physiology, Clinical physiology, Amphibian physiology, Mammalian physiology and Research laboratories. There is also a departmental library, a seminar room and two demonstration rooms. The department is actively involved in initiation of innovative teaching-learning and assessment practices.
